Every position, live.

Prices move as people buy in. Claim an empty position at its opening price, or pay a holder's premium and take theirs. Everything here follows the ten rules below.

The rules

Ten rules, one of which is the whole game.

Start with the one below. The other nine take a minute to read.

Rule 05 · the core

Nobody owns a position. You hold it until somebody pays more.

Every takeover shifts the column down by one. You keep your money and your sticker, you just lose height. Here is Northwind, who claimed position 1 on day one.

Sixteen positions, 1 to 16

Position 1 is the best spot on the fridge and 16 is the last. Opening prices run from $200 down to $50.

An empty position costs what it says

Nobody standing there, so you pay the opening price and your logo goes up at the lowest premium.

A taken position costs more

You pay the holder's price plus their premium. Somebody sitting on $180 at 10% costs you $198.

You set your own premium

A slider decides how far above the minimum you pay. That percentage becomes the toll on your own position.

Outbid means down one, not off

Keep your money and your sticker, take the position below, and push everyone under you down as well. This is the rule the demo above is showing.

Whoever paid more stays put

You only fall past brands that paid less than you. Anyone who paid more holds their place while you slide by.

Shelves can be bought whole

Take any of the three inside shelves for double what it is worth today. Everyone standing on it slides down.

Below 16 is the drawer

Pushed off the bottom and your sticker comes off the fridge. The only way back is buying a position again.

Freezer spots A to D are permanent

Four spots inside the freezer, paid once and never resold. No premium, no slider, nobody can take them.

The freezer door holds positions 1 and 2. Those are ordinary and anybody can take them. Only the lettered spots inside are permanent.

Every logo is checked by hand

A logo, a name of 40 characters or fewer, and a link. Usually approved within a day. Anything turned down is refunded in full.

The drawer

Everyone who ran out of positions.

The crisper drawer at the bottom holds every brand that was pushed past position 16. It never fills up and nothing comes back out of it.

FAQ

Not while you are still on the fridge. You drop one position and keep both your sticker and the amount you paid. That amount is what the next person has to beat to move you again. You only lose everything if you are pushed off the bottom into the drawer.
Because the premium you set is the toll on your own position. Buy in at 10% and somebody can move you the same afternoon. Buy in at 60% and anyone who wants you out has to clear 60% as well. Overpaying is how you buy time on the fridge, and it also keeps you above cheaper brands when they fall past you.
Yes, on the three shelves inside the main compartment. It costs double what the shelf is worth right now. Your logo runs the full width and everyone who was standing on it shuffles down from there. Rule 07 has the arithmetic.
Your logo comes off the fridge and your name stays on the eliminated list at the bottom of this page. The only route back is buying a position again at whatever it costs by then.
Yes, as many as you like. Some people will want position 1 and the whole bottom shelf as insurance.
Usually within a day. Your position is held from the moment you pay, so nobody can take it while your logo is being checked. If it gets turned down, you are refunded in full and the position goes back on the board.
